Let's Get Ready!

The goal of our photoshoot is to showcase your home in a manner that will attract buyers, get you showings, and get you offers. The following checklist will help ensure the best possible results.

Interior

  • De-clutter - this is the number one thing you can do to prepare for a successful photo shoot. Put away toys, clothing, dishes, towels, shoes, etc.  If there’s something you do not wish to see in a photo, remove it prior to the scheduled shoot. Garages are not usually shot so feel free to store items you’d like to hide in there.

  • Depersonalize as much as possible. A few small photos are fine but large photos and/or excessive photos should be removed.

  • Remove throw rugs and runners so the floor can be seen.

  • Make all beds neatly, fluff all the pillows, and check the bed skirts.

  • Clear all kitchen and bathroom countertops and remove personal items.

  • If you want to show off your shower, remove all shampoos & products.

  • Remove all magnets and decorations from the refrigerator.

  • If there are pets, hide all food/water bowls, pet beds, and pet toys.

  • Replace all burned out light bulbs.

  • Clean the windows, floors, and appliances.

Exterior

  • Have the lawn mowed, edges trimmed, leaves raked, bushes and trees pruned.

  • Fresh mulch makes a huge impact on curb appeal

  • Remove hoses, garden tools, toys, bikes, etc.

  • Uncover grills.

  • Remove any seasonal/holiday decorations.

Day of photoshoot

  • Turn on all interior lights including laps and cabinet lighting.

  • Turn off all ceiling fans.

  • Open all blinds, shades, and curtains.

  • Hide trash cans in the garage if possible.

  • Put all toilet seats and lids down.

  • Hide all trash cans.

  • Clear all cars from the driveway and the street in front of the home leaving a clear view.

  • Plan not to be seen - all occupants should plan on either being off the property or remain in areas where they can’t be seen during the shoot.

Twilight

  • Check & replace burned out bulbs.

  • Turn all interior lights and raise all window blinds.

  • Turn on all exterior lights
